Just trying this out for a while. I like LJ too much and I don't expect to be investing too much over here. A lot of things about the site bother me, even though I am aware that it's a beta; it just seems too premature of a release to even be that, design-wise. But, it's functional, so ah well.

Rewatching Veronica Mars. I can't count the number of times I've watched this, and I've yet to be tired of it. I guess it's my favourite show for a reason. CSI used to fit this bill, but it's just gone downhill since Warrick died and Grissom left.

I'm so glad it's the weekend. Work got really busy this week and I've been running on full blast with minimal sleep (though that second bit is my fault). Later today, my parents will be out for a while (Vader has his natural ability test today — Dad is teaching him to be a hunting dog) so I need to deposit my check, take out money for this month's rent, and start the laundry. But I can sleep in and my parents have to be up in less than three hours. I like this scenario. 8)

I made my layout considerably less ugly! I got a hold of that .css everyone's been whoring out on here (because it's the only NICE layout) and just messed with it for a while. I've been digging Courier New more than usual lately, I usually ignored it and slapped Trebuchet MS onto everything.

I have nothing of relevance to say anymore, other than K-ON! is fabulously lesbian and hilarious and you should watch it. The end.

I totally agree about the premature releasing. I think they rushed it a bit, and it's a little over-hyped. I have no idea what I'm going to actually use it for, but whatever. :')

Veronica Marssssss I haven't watched that in ages! I used to have the whole first season on my external, but I cleaned it up recently and deleted it and ldjsfd;ls why did I do that. /regrets

I downloaded the css too, it really is the only nice layout. also, omfg, Courier New and Trebuchet MS are..... pretty much the only fonts I like. Sometimes I use Garamond for large text, but. Seriously I didn't think anyone even liked Courier New. 8D

I started watching K-ON! Telling you this because... you're probably the only person who really cares, lmao. I watched the first ep, but it was on veoh and there were like a billion popup ads so I got frustrated after one episode. I might just go ahead and torrent the rest.

Yeah, I agree with the over-hyping bit. I know a lot of people are planning to move here (none that I know, but I know people who are really geared up for it) because they just... don't like LJ, or they think DW will be better, or whatever. But I mean, first it was GreatestJournal, then Inksome, then InsaneJournal... I just don't think this one will last, considering the track record of previous LJ clones. But, this one also has the following of a lot of hardcore fandom people, so maybe it will. I heard their seed accounts sold out really fast.

Yeah, I lost the show on my old external when it fell over ._. I found it again at Target for $20 a season, which is the cheapest I'd ever seen it, so I bought it right then.

COURIER NEW IS IDK, it's just so simple and nice. Now my LJ layout has pretty much only Trebuchet MS and Courier New all over it, lmao.

YAY, K-ON! \o/ It's super cute and ridiculous, and only 12 episodes long (SOB), but it just makes me happy to watch. ♥
